When do you stop learning? At Deloitte, never.

Our mission is to help our clients and our people excel. This means we invest heavily in developing our people, and in continually building their technical skills, business acumen and industry experience.  

This starts on your first day at Deloitte. If you are joining us as an intern, you will receive an induction with all interns in your office. This provides an opportunity to network and ensure that you are equipped for your summer at Deloitte. All graduates have the opportunity to attend a nationwide induction with all graduates joining Deloitte, designed to provide you with a platform to succeed in the early stages of your career.

Qualifications and training

Wherever you join us, you can expect learning and development that’s as rewarding as it is challenging. We’ll teach you everything you need to know to turn your job into a career, empowering you to make an impact from day one.

We support you completing the qualifications below (provided it’s relevant to the work you’re doing) through financial support, mentoring, and paid study leave. We also connect cohorts across New Zealand of people studying the same course so you have additional support and mentorship ensuring success!

Ongoing Training

As you progress through your career, our internal Learning and Development team offer a number of milestone trainings, such as Senior Milestone, Manager Milestone and Woman in Leadership. All of these trainings are designed to ensure that you are supported to unleash your potential at all stages of your career.

If you’re wanting to upskill in a certain area, you’ll have instant access to a wide range of learning tools, including our innovative online learning portal Cura. Content covers everything from technical skills, industry specific information, through to leadership skills. This enables you to complete self-directed learning at your own pace.
